 山吹色（𝒀𝒂𝒎𝒂𝒃𝒖𝒌𝒊）是春日棣棠花盛開時的焦黃色，也是這次展覽的起點。

展出作品想法來自藝術家歐靜雲對臺灣郊區的記憶：潮濕的泥土、閃爍的金光、水氣蒸騰的午後，以及草叢間若隱若現的生命蹤跡。畫中的植物有些來自真實經驗，有些則透過想像被錯植於亞熱帶風景之中，形成介於現實與虛構之間的景觀。

在熾陽與驟雨交替的氣候裡，歐靜雲試圖描繪那些不斷流動、難以定義的事物——光、水氣、記憶與欲望。這些元素彼此交織，逐漸生成一片虛實莫測的變造荒野，以及一座由觀看與想像共同織繡而成的野性花園。

“𝒀𝒂𝒎𝒂𝒃𝒖𝒌𝒊” is a warm, golden-yellow hue associated with the blossoms of the Japanese kerria in spring. It serves as the point of departure for this exhibition.

The works on view are inspired by artist OU Jing-Yun’s memories of Taiwan’s suburban landscapes: damp soil, shimmering golden dust, humid afternoons veiled in rising moisture, and fleeting traces of life hidden among the grasses. Some of the plants depicted originate from direct observation and lived experience, while others are intentionally transplanted through imagination into subtropical settings, creating landscapes that hover between reality and fiction.

Amid a climate of blazing sunlight and sudden downpours, OU seeks to capture phenomena that are constantly shifting and difficult to define—light, humidity, memory, and desire. Interwoven throughout the paintings, these elements gradually give rise to a transformed wilderness where the boundaries between the real and the imagined become uncertain, and to a wild garden woven collectively through acts of looking, remembering, and imagining.
